From the starting point, by bus, we will be heading to Tossa de Mar, enjoying the magnificent scenery.
This Mediterranean town is recognized as one of the fashionable European resorts. No wonder, American producer, for the famous movie «Pandora and the Flying Duchman» (1951) selected Tossa de Mar and its surroundings for filming. A famous Hollywood star, Ava Gardner, became so fond of this wonderful town that often came back for holidays.
The famous Russian-French painter Marc Chagall took his inspiration from this place, and as he was taken by the quality of light he found in Tossa de Mar, he called the coastal Spanish town "Blue paradise."
A walking tour with our guide in this city rich with history awaits you. We will visit the medieval castle of the XII century, and go up to the viewpoint area to see the guard towers and a beacon, which oversee the bright colors of the sea bay. All secrets and legends of the city will be revealed, and we will talk about pirate attacks that sought the citadel’s treasures. In the spare time, you can enjoy the unique charm of this city by wandering through the cool and flowery streets, as well as, drinking a cup of coffee on the inviting terrace.
From Tossa de Mar by sea, on a comfortable boat, we will be heading towards one of the magical costs – Costa Brava!
Are you excited to start the tour yet? Thrill of exploration is guaranteed to you: cliffs with the magnificent canopy of Mediterranean pine trees, clear azure waters of the Gulf of wild, golden sands and gliding through the sky white seagulls – it is an unforgettable experience!
Here we will have some time to swim and suntan, and become treasure hunters by exploring the natural cave. If you get hungry, you can have a meal at one of the cafes, where a Mediterranean cuisine is prepared according to the old recipes and the seafood is caught from the Costa Brava bay.
Suntanned and rested, on the bus, on the road with a stunning sea view, we will go to the Ethnographic Museum and the famous wine cellar «EL PARATGE»
In the Ethnographic Museum, we will dive deeper into the Spanish culture. You will be told about Spanish national costumes, traditions, crafts and the daily life in the fishing villages. Then comes the vine tasting, a time to become a sommelier! There will be about 20 different types of Spanish wine to try. Spanish delicacies will be there to taste! Such as, cheeses, sausages and the world-famous jamon. And for the sweet tooth, there will be various turrons, a desert inherited from Arabic countries by Spain.
